About me & This Blog
For many years, my professional life has been centered around language, learning, and people. As a state-certified German instructor, I have worked with adult learners from diverse backgrounds, supporting them in developing their voices in a new language. Storytelling helps my learners find their voices in German.
Storytelling has always been more than just a teaching method for me, as it also helps mein language learning: Writing in English has become a personal creative space for me: a place for my own thoughts, reflection, imagination, growth and escape. On this blog, I share the stories I write, the books that move me, and my thoughts on them through reviews. It is a space where teaching, learning, reading, and writing quietly meet in the background—but where curiosity, creativity, and a love for language lead the way.
If you want to know more about me, read my stories and take a look at my academic background, professional journey, and the topics that matter most to me below.
I hope you enjoy reading here and feel inspired to start telling your own stories. Please always feel free to reach out to me if there is anything you like to comment or share with me.
