Your teachers are all around you. All that you perceive, all that you experience, all that is given to you or taken from you, all that you love or hate, need or fear will teach you— if you will learn.”

(Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler, 1993/2012: 280)

About This Blog

Language, learning, and storytelling have always shaped my life and I am certainly not the only person on this planet who feels this way. For many years now, I have work as a state-certified German instructor with teaching German as a foreign and second language in adult education. Storytelling helps my learners find their voices in German as their new language.

This blog is now my personal space for stories, books, thoughts and reflections. Here, I share my passion for reading, writing, and reviewing — exploring how stories shape identity, connect us, and open new perspectives.

I hope you enjoy reading here and feel inspired to start telling your own stories. Please always feel free to reach out to me if there is anything you like to comment or share with me.
